Genesis-Fury

Thoughts: Here we see one of the original fiendish and fascinating Pokémon, Mewtwo.

I don't know what has become of Pokémon beyond the second installment, but Mewtwo has always been a fascinating indivudal for his openly intelligent, communicative, and sentient nature, but moreso for his darker history and long series of implications and entanglement in affairs of human nature.

So far as the matter of his creation and traits remain, he has long stood (to me) as the paragon of restraint: both that forced upon him, but also his own self-restraint amid the catastrophic level of capability he was said to possess. Anger, fury, and all of the untrainable extents of the mind are just as much his weapon as his accursed limitation, swept across all of his ambitions and their anchor of memory.

Details: A short sketch completed for a friend, one of a simple series.

Materials: mechanical pencil, blue col-erase, basic Xerox paper, a touch of watercolor, and a slight amount of calligraphy ink.

Cynicide: I am aware of multiple small errors here, but it is a rather unfounded sketch, and that is much to be expected.
