Don't judge me for what I got here. Jerk!
I have a tendency to write in many available spaces of my sketchbook, and the lines above Kuma seemed to hold some significance to his depiction there, hence my choice to include them - although in a text form, as opposed to my eccentric scrawl.
I am not sure how others would see the image or interpret it's meaning, especially including the written portion... But, everyone will see what they will - and I am glad simply to see what they may have to express.
Thanks again, Biotype. It's good seeing you around.

Either way, I am a person of tea, myself. It is my habitual drink while studying or sketching.
Now I really like this pic, in my opinion you've captured Kuma perfectly. Seeing is how with his massive stature he comes along as an extremely imposing and dangrous. While his actions speak otherwise as he has shown to be actually quite calm and merciful towards Zoro when he was his opponent. Although I do wonder just what his motives were for undertaking the proceedure of becoming a complete 'weapon' and having to lose all of his humanity and essentially lose himself in the process, a fate possibly worse than death...
Forgive my rant, I tend to talk far to much for far to long and far to often.

I could easily write a short essay, myself, on my general regards of him, any points of conjecture, and various conjunctions of fascination. If there is anything that I welcome, it is discussion with depth and meaning - whether equal or not in content to both reader and creator.
Although this sketch is most basic, it has touched upon sentiments I normally do not bother divulging... Mostly because of how cumbersome they are to tell of. In general, those things that I earnestly respect or like are often the recipients of focused thought and ideas, and usually a fair stretch of humor. I am sure it is that way with many people, concerning all things they enjoy.
Of Kuma, there are a vast many questions which one could ponder, from the standing of religion and faith, to the very question of just how he earned the formal name 'the Tyrant,' especially in a world where pirate raids, killing, looting, and plundering - and worse! - are quite common... What is there that would make him bear that name, even amid the supposedly cruel and dastardly other Shichibukai? There are the obvious notions of his Pacifista association/state, and even further question of just what that entire notion implies.
So. That is at least the basis of my reasoning... Though hastily composed.
