Thoughts: Here are some initial studies of the character Link, of TRON: Uprising. To an unknown degree, he seems to lead a difficult, marginalized existence. Perhaps as a bit of characterization, a side of me pictures him as a mild drinker.
A very minor character, these are just a set of studies, in an attempt to come to grips with the odd, curiously variable (depending on viewing angle) build of his facial or head structure.
While the TRON: Uprising. material is known for it's rich dark/matte hues contrasted by vibrant colors, currently I was finding a way to adapt to that in a balanced manner using a mix of graphite and ink.
There is also a touch of asemic 'notes' there, left mostly for visual interest or contrast.
Details: Practice sketches, some freehand, and some taken with heavy references.
Materials: Sketchbook paper, mechanical pencil, 4B/8B graphite stick, India Ink, .01 ink pen, correction fluid, and mild watercolor or colored ink.

As I think I said in my twitter comment, I cannot get enough of how well you're able to draw Link and convey his emotions and personality perfectly!! So much stunning work and skill, especially in your delve into the Uprising style itself! The ink and graphite mix works great! You've got the peculiar shadowing of Uprising down well too. The little touches of color add nice focus too.
